1. With the help of another person remove factory hood, taking care not to damage paintwork.
2. Transfer hood latch to Moore Performance Products hood.
3. Very carefully install new hood in the same place as factory hood was mounted*.
4. Slowly lower hood paying careful attention to the gaps between fenders and hood, close hood.
5. If the hood fit is satisfactory, then proceed to remove and have hood painted to match color of car; otherwise adjust hood hinges, bump stops, etc. to attain desired fit.
6. After painting, install hood insulation, safety catch etc. to new hood.
7. Reinstall new hood carefully
back onto car, checking fender gaps etc. and avoiding
damage to paintwork and close hood.
*NOTE: Do not paint the hood until you have pre-fitted it to the vehicle and are satisfied with the gaps being consistent all around. (You may wish to use a magic marker to draw around the four mounting bolts for reference when re-installing hood after painting.) Moore Performance Products is not responsible for any paintwork on a hood done prior to pre-fitting and adjustment. This hood is warranted for a period of ninety (90) days beginning on the date of purchase against defects in the hood caused in manufacturing.
